Our Story
Jack Conlin is the founder of J.F. Conlin Building Company and a dedicated builder with a strong educational and hands-on foundation. He earned his college degree from University of California, Davis, where he initially began his career path studying viticulture and ecology. While at UC Davis, Jack discovered that his true passion wasn’t in the vineyard or winery — it was on the job site, building and creating with his hands. That realization led him to fully pursue a career in construction. Jack apprenticed and worked as a journeyman under respected local contractor Phil Stanton of PSC Builders, a trusted name in the Sierra Foothills for over 40 years. Under Phil’s mentorship, Jack gained invaluable experience and developed a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, integrity, and doing things the right way. Over the years, he has had the opportunity to work on nearly every type of construction project, building a well-rounded skill set and a strong understanding of both structural and finish work. Today, Jack leads J.F. Conlin Building Company with an unwavering dedication to quality. He believes that great construction is about more than just completing a project — it’s about delivering lasting value, paying attention to the smallest details, and building trust with every client.
